Upon delivery, there is minimal installation required. Hook the testing equipment and QC lab up to power
and you are ready to start testing. 

LAYOUT

When designing the layout, Phillips first considers the testing equipment to be housed in the Prefabricated QC Lab. We ensure that there is a designated space for washers, abrasion machines, splitters, shakers, rockers, air jet sieve apparatus, gravity benches, and other larger equipment.

Smaller equipment is then taken into consideration for the layout. Space for durability apparatus, classification devices, rock testing devices, and moisture analyzers determine the amount of storage and table space required. We also plan storage space for brushes, beakers, sieves, testing accessories as well as other supplies such as HEPA vaccums.

Various design options are considered to maximize efficiency for each room. Windows and door locations based on accessibility on site, heating and cooling needs, and ventilation requirements help determine the optimal layout.

MATERIALS

The harsh industrial environment of aggregate sites requires heavy-duty solutions. We use durable materials, protective coatings and fire-rated materials to withstand extreme conditions. 

Our team of certified welders, technicians and electricians work together during construction. The team builds each room to specification in house. Before leaving our facility, we perform quality control checks. This ensures proper operation of all components and ease of setup on site.

FINISHING DETAILS

QC Labs include all of the conveniences of a traditionally constructed facility. The entire lab is prewired with sufficient lighting and outlets. The floor is finished and the walls are painted.

Commonly utilized options include cabinetry, sinks, tables, awnings, stairs and railings, ventilation units and heating/cooling units.
