DESCRIPTION
Responsible for assembling and installing piping systems and pipe supports for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, industrial production, and processing systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Responsible for assembling and installing piping systems and pipe supports for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, industrial production, and processing systems.
- Cut, thread, and fit pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints
- Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years’ experience and 6g certified in SWAW and GTAW.
- Possess necessary hand tools to perform mechanical industrial and commercial work.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines, stand for long periods of time and able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver license and be able to pass a background check.
