Mechanical apprentice
DESCRIPTION
The mechanical apprentice will receive on-the-job technical training where they learn about blueprints, mechanical code requirements, installation methods, and safety practices.

The mechanical apprentice will receive on-the-job technical training where they learn about blueprints, mechanical code requirements, installation methods, and safety practices.
- Assists in installation, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of piping systems and associated materials and equipment
- Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations, measure and cut pipes according to requirements
- Install and secure pipes, weld, and assemble piping systems
- Repair malfunctions, breakages, or leaks
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check
